Villa White Lotus Accommodation
Set on 1500 sqm, the complex built by Balinese craftsmen offers a state of the art accommodation to the connoisseur while retaining the delicacy of line and purity of proportion integral to the architecture of the land. White Lotus Lodge consists of three pavilions encircling an elevated inner courtyard where an infinity pool flows into a large lotus pond below.
Shutters and screens are subtly deployed to enhance the elements and to maximize fluidity of passage between indoors and out. Adjacent to the inner sanctum an open sided thatched Bale (Balinese entertaining area) has been built on raised ground offering an unimpeded view of terraced rice fields.
A retreat for the individual to indulge in an array of ancient beauty therapies, relaxing massages and body treatment. Antique furniture and fabrics are selectively used to complement a backdrop of beautifully aged primary colors. Stencils, stone carvings and illusionist painting executed by local artists suggest a hint of yester-year reminiscent of the famous Raffles hotel in Singapore.
Main pavilion consists of double bedroom with ceiling fans and mosquito nets, indoor/outdoor bathroom. Adjoining is a large lounging/T.V. - U2 Channel International System - area with indoor/outdoor bathroom.
Second pavilion is double bedroom, sitting area with ceiling fans and mosquito nets. The en-suite is indoor/outdoor.
The third pavilion is the kitchen and dining areas The Lodge is fully serviced with housekeepers, gardeners and kitchen staff.
The fourth wooden bale stands between the Main pavilion and the Second facing the lotus garden and the pool. This is ideally for kids room. Guests staying at this pavilion must share the outdoor shower and toilet located behind the master pavilion.
